Based on our evaluation, we will determine whether it is suitable and promising from our perspective, or if we would suggest an alternative support program.

Through a series of workshops, training sessions, and entrepreneurial methods, we equip potential founders with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively validate their idea. The Berliner Startup Stipendium is a scholarship supporting founders who have an initial start-up concept and a possible first prototype and are in the process of preparing for market maturity.
The goal of this scholarship is the product validation, company’s founding and market entry. As a lean technology-oriented incubator, we focus on founders who continuously test their ideas and develop their products in a user-centered way.
The BHT Startup Hub Team supports students, graduates and scientists, who have innovative technological start-up projects, in applying for an EXIST Business Start-up Grant.
The grant provides financial support to help startups to implement their ideas both technically and entrepreneurially, and to prepare for a successful entry into the market. The teams are supported through funding of living expenses, material resources for the project, and comprehensive coaching.
One of the goals of the German Federal Government’s start-up strategy is to strengthen female start-up founders and diversity. The EXIST Women is an aid program of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) dedicated to encourage women at universities and research institutions to venture into self-employment, so that in future more women will act as managing directors and shareholders of innovative start-ups.
The program aims to boost startup networks, motivating female graduates, scientists, students, and professionals associated with the university. EXIST Women provides a supportive environment for women to connect, share ideas, and collaborate without pressure. The REACT Startup Stipendium was a grant programme designed to foster startup ideas in the health sector with a focus on crisis management following the COVID-19 pandemic. These startups aimed to drive a green, digital, and stable economic recovery.
