Startup consulting

At our startup incubator, we specialize in assisting aspiring founders in navigating the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey. With our lean startup methods and pragmatic approach, we provide valuable guidance to help these future founders identify the opportunities for validating their ideas.

Our initial objective is to familiarize ourselves with you and your project. This will enable us to assess the viability and potential of your application for our startup programs. Based on our evaluation, we will determine whether it is suitable and promising from our perspective, or if we would suggest an alternative support program.

Once we have a clear picture of the idea’s potential, we collaborate closely with the founders to develop a tailored strategy for success and obtaining funding. Through a series of workshops, training sessions, and entrepreneurial methods, we equip potential founders with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively validate their idea. Our goal is to guide founders towards implementing lean startup methodologies that emphasize experimentation, feedback, and iteration to refine their product or service.

Our next step is to thoroughly understand the unique concept each founder is working on. We delve into the core aspects of their idea, examining its market potential and assessing its feasibility. By conducting thorough market research and analysis, we help founders gain a comprehensive understanding of their target audience and competitive landscape.

We will be happy to advise you on the Berlin Startup Stipendium scholarship or the EXIST Business Startup Grant and support you in the application process.

Our team assists in creating compelling pitch decks, refining business plans, and navigating the intricacies of securing funding.

If your project is not suitable, we will show you other financing and funding options, scholarships, venture capitalists and accelerators to finance your project.

Our startup programmes

Berliner Startup Stipendium

The Berliner Startup Stipendium is a scholarship supporting founders who have an initial start-up concept and a possible first prototype and are in the process of preparing for market maturity.

The goal of this scholarship is the product validation, company’s founding and market entry. As a lean technology-oriented incubator, we focus on founders who continuously test their ideas and develop their products in a user-centered way.

EXIST Business Start-up Grant

The BHT Startup Hub Team supports students, graduates and scientists, who have innovative technological start-up projects, in applying for an EXIST Business Start-up Grant.

The grant provides financial support to help startups to implement their ideas both technically and entrepreneurially, and to prepare for a successful entry into the market. The teams are supported through funding of living expenses, material resources for the project, and comprehensive coaching.

One of the goals of the German Federal Government’s start-up strategy is to strengthen female start-up founders and diversity. The EXIST Women is an aid program of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) dedicated to encourage women at universities and research institutions to venture into self-employment, so that in future more women will act as managing directors and shareholders of innovative start-ups.

The program aims to boost startup networks, motivating female graduates, scientists, students, and professionals associated with the university. EXIST Women provides a supportive environment for women to connect, share ideas, and collaborate without pressure. Join us to envision business ideas with inspiring female coaches, fostering growth for you and your projects.

In addition to financial support, each scholarship includes the use of the infrastructure of the BHT Startup Hub and at the campus of BHT.
